Teachers take the children on an experiential journey through making recycled paper. Youth and students gathered at the Quiche Biodiversity Cultural Center at Rancho el Peñasco, where they also learned how to make natural paints using the clay found at the Peñasco Eco-Ranch. It was a a day of touching and feeling the earth and working together to make something beautiful and useful … Thanks to WencesLao, Daniel, and all the wonderful people who made this workshop possible. It was a good day with the earth: the presence and participation of curious children and the great impression that this day left with them.
